Some snaps of the team on Wear It Pink Day for Breast Cancer Awareness. A few apprehensively turned up sporting pink, but after a few too many 'flumps' and some pink lemonade the flashing bunny ears were out and the nail polish was on (and yes, that was only the boys!). It was great fun and an excellent way to contribute to a good cause....What's that Ross?...You want to do it every Friday?

Our latest social networking site has turned 1 (month) old this week and we are pleased to announce the site is prospering well with over 500 registered users.
Central Station is a community space designed to allow designers, artists and film makers to showcase their work, share tools, tips and access resources. Developed for our esteemed colleagues over at ISO design, the community site is joint funded by Channel 4's 4IP, the Scottish Arts Council and Scottish Screen.
Enlisted to complete the technical build of the site, Screenmedia developed the community space using a bespoke content management system; yet through seamless integration of a white label social networking platform users are also able interact and engage with content, as well as share their work and ideas online.

Three project wins in September makes for a very busy fourth quarter and a few late ones. But we have a plan. To ease the pressure we are recruiting and, better still, scheduling some major fun around Halloween, Guy Fawkes and Christmas. That should fill the Flickr gallery.

Alongside the development of the new Titan Clydebank website, we have also produced this new corporate site for Clydebank Re-built. A very different remit with very different results.
Clydebank Rebuilt’s purpose is simple; to help regenerate Clydebank. Their work, as facilitators and developers, is fresh, innovative and successful. So, for the website solution we went for a bit of innovation too – implementing a content management system that enables full (and easy) site update to all published content - including the Google map and galleries for each project. We are also integrating more web 2.0 features such as Ajax and DHTML to improve the user interaction experience, as well as elements of community & social media to develop better dialogue users.
This is after all what Clydebank Re-built is about.

Titan Clydebank is a visitor experience with a real difference.
The giant cantilever crane towers 150ft over the site of the old John Brown shipyard in Clydebank. The view is outstanding and the exhibits are eye opening too. From the audio tour from the Pursor’s office, up and along the crane, around the exhibit, then back to the shop and café - it’s a great experience.
Screenmedia recently launched this new site to promote the tour and online bookings. We also produced the audio tour in which Alex Norton recalls the story of the Titan Clydebank and it’s part in the building of great ships such as the Queen Mary and the QE2.
A great and inspirational project, hopefully with a great design and build to match.

From a total of 26 entries, 7 companies were shortlisted. We are due to give our presentation to the judging panel in London in mid September so be sure to send us your positive thoughts!

Our latest project with The Big Plus, Work Skills Academy, has now been added to our online portfolio. Why not swing by and try your hand at some of the learning games designed to help adults brush up on their reading, writing and number skills.
Our character guides the learner through each learning game in the context of four core vocational areas; Care, Construction, Retail and Hairdressing. As you can see, he even dresses the part!
